Before starting her firm in 2010, Chun T. Wright served as Vice President, Anti-Piracy Legal Affairs, for the Entertainment Software Association (ESA). During her seven-year tenure at ESA, Chun devised and oversaw legal and litigation strategies for the game industry’s worldwide anti-piracy program. Chun also litigated for several years at major law firms in San Francisco and the Silicon Valley. She represented prominent Internet and technology businesses, start-ups, multinational corporations, and media companies in numerous areas involving cutting-edge issues, including intellectual property, Internet law, privacy, content regulation, and defamation.

In 1994, then-U.S. Attorney Eric H. Holder, Jr. hired Chun to serve as an Assistant U.S. Attorney in the District of Columbia. As an AUSA, Chun tried numerous criminal cases before judges and juries, and she argued many cases before the United States Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit and the District of Columbia Court of Appeals. From 1992-1993, Chun served as judicial clerk to the Honorable Emilio M. Garza, U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit.

Community and Interests

Chun served as vice president and a board member of the DC Green Connection, Inc., an organization that was committed to building the local green economy and encouraging sustainable living. From 1995-99, she was a founder and director of the Asian Pacific Islander Domestic Violence Resource Project. From 1996-98, she served as a director of the Asian Pacific American Bar Association Educational Fund. Currently, Chun is on the Advisory Board of the Adventure Travel Trade Association, a global trade group for the adventure travel industry, and on the Board of Directors of the Adventure Travel Conservation Fund, a newly created non-profit whose mission is to directly fund local projects engaged in the conservation of natural and cultural resources of adventure travel destinations. Chun is also on the Anti-Counterfeiting Committee of the International Trademark Association (INTA).

Outside of the office, Chun enjoys scuba diving, culinary experimentation, and international travel. She has explored nearly 50 countries in Africa, Asia, Europe, and Latin America.
