Ashfia Khan

Ashfia graduated from the George Washington University Law School with a concentration in Intellectual Property in 2022. She is admitted to practice in MD, and her application to the DC Bar has been submitted and is under review. Her work on client matters is supervised by DC Bar member Chun T. Wright.

While in law school, Ashfia worked as law clerk for a litigation firm in Washington, D.C. Over the pandemic, she volunteered with a legal aid organization working to provide legal assistance to artists and cultural institutions in New York. She was a board member of the Art Law and Entertainment Society and was also involved with the Muslim Law Student Association and the Asian Pacific American Law Student Association.

Ashfia was born and raised in Toronto, Canada. She received her undergraduate degree from American University in Film and Media Arts, with a minor in Graphic Design. At AU, Ashfia worked at Photography lab and met young artists and designers who inspired her to explore the world of intellectual property.

Prior to entering law school, Ashfia worked at a local bookstore. When she’s not in the office, Ashfia loves reading, visiting art galleries, and playing video games. She also enjoys trying new restaurants and traveling to as many places as she can.
